The role of Community Psychiatric Nurse in Perinatal Mental Health at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is a fixed-term position for 12 months, focusing on providing specialized mental health support to women and parents facing moderate to severe mental health issues during the perinatal period. Working within the North Wales Perinatal Mental Health Team, the post holder will engage in assessments, develop care and treatment plans, manage a clinical caseload, and facilitate therapeutic groups, while also contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced practitioners who are passionate about supporting this demographic. The role includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, providing consultation and guidance to referrers, and participating in staff training and research activities. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, and the post holder will work independently with various agencies and support networks to enhance care for individuals and their families.
