The "Receptionist Critical Care" role at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is essential for the efficient operation of the Adult Critical Care unit. Reporting to the ward sister, the receptionist will support a multi-disciplinary team by performing various administrative tasks, including managing patient records through the hospital's computer systems, ensuring accurate documentation of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, as well as maintaining confidentiality and communication with GP surgeries. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy, and a commitment to the Trust's values, with the role being shift-based within a 7-day rota, including bank holidays.

Key responsibilities include managing patient administrative systems, updating patient information, overseeing bed occupancy, liaising with medical staff for elective bookings, and ensuring the organisation and secure filing of medical documentation. The ideal candidate should be caring, motivated, and demonstrate strong initiative and teamwork skills.
