The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Peer Support Worker with personal experience of mental health conditions to join their Health and Wellbeing College team in Brockworth. This role involves using one's recovery journey to inspire and support others through peer-led health education, promoting self-management skills, and facilitating various mental and physical health courses. Key responsibilities include course organisation and delivery, collaborating in content co-production, and providing learning support to participants while maintaining a compassionate and person-centered approach.

The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals, including clinicians and health sector staff. This is a permanent part-time role, demanding engagement in course design and participant support, while ensuring proper documentation and evaluation are maintained.
