The "EME/Clinical Engineer Infusion Pumps Support" role at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust focuses on advancing the maintenance of infusion systems within the EME/Clinical Engineering department. The position, which is a Band 5 vacancy based at Frimley Park Hospital, involves servicing and maintaining a range of infusion-related medical devices, including syringe and feeding pumps, to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. The post holder will serve as a vital link between the department and both internal and external stakeholders, providing support for corrective and preventative maintenance programs and assisting in the training of apprentices.

Key responsibilities include conducting repairs, performing regular safety assessments, advising clinical staff on device management, and contributing to the development of safety policies and medical device strategies. The role requires effective collaboration with the infusion systems team and the wider organisation to enhance patient care through reliable and compliant medical device operations. The position does not offer sponsorship and requires the ability to work independently while maintaining necessary stock levels of spare parts and ensuring compliance with health regulatory standards.
