CANCER HAEMATOLOGY INTRATHECAL NHS ROLE MODEL
The role of Advanced Specialist Pharmacist for Cancer Services at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust offers an exciting opportunity to develop clinical skills within a dynamic team focused on Haematology and Oncology. Candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients, supervising pharmacy staff, managing drug expenditures, and ensuring patient safety through the development of electronic prescribing protocols. Additionally, there is an emphasis on supporting outpatient services, engaging in practice research, and working towards credentialing for consultant posts with funding available for relevant qualifications.

The position attracts a £5,000 Recruitment & Retention Premia for external candidates, along with a potential relocation allowance. Preference will be given to internal staff and those with relevant experience. The role requires strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in clinical decision-making, contributing to guidelines and policies, and actively participating in management and leadership within the cancer pharmacy team.
