The role of Community Children's Nurse - Band 6 at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust involves providing exceptional nursing care for children and young people in various community settings, including homes, special schools, and residential respite facilities. The position offers full-time, part-time, and flexible working options, with a focus on compassionate care for patients with diverse medical needs, including complex and palliative conditions.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload autonomously by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while delivering clinical interventions and training for parents and staff from other agencies. The candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and participate in a 24-hour on-call rota, especially for end-of-life care.

Applicants should possess a first-level Child Branch qualification or RGN with RSCN qualification, alongside extensive experience in nursing children with complex health needs. Essential skills include teaching, assessing, mentoring, and good communication. While community experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. A valid driving license and vehicle access for work is required, along with knowledge of safeguarding principles and children's continuing care.
