York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Children's Nurse to join their Children's Bowel and Bladder Team in York. The role focuses on assessing, treating, supporting, and educating children and their families dealing with bowel and bladder issues like constipation and enuresis. The successful candidate will conduct nurse-led clinics, participate in educational sessions, and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary settings, including hospitals, primary care, and schools. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes are essential due to travel requirements.

This permanent position offers 22.5 hours of work per week over three days, with opportunities for professional development and service enhancement. Following the completion of specialist training and a minimum of six months in the role, the post can progress from band 5 to band 6. The role also entails training and advising colleagues and educational staff to promote effective care for children and their families.
