HOLISTIC MATERNITY MIDWIFERY NHS ROLE MODEL
The Organisational Development Consultant at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust plays a pivotal role within the Maternity Improvement Programme (MIP) team, focusing on enhancing maternity services in response to regulatory standards and reviews. This position entails providing leadership and support to foster a culture of wellbeing, safety, and accountability while promoting compassionate and inclusive leadership as outlined in the NHS People Plan. The consultant will leverage organisational development skills to implement sustainable cultural and transformational change, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach towards improving clinical excellence within maternity pathways.

The role emphasises establishing strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, influencing changes in behavior, and ensuring alignment with the Trust’s Culture and Leadership Strategy. Responsibilities include delivering OD interventions, organizing training, capturing staff and service user feedback, and acting as a professional role model. The consultant will be instrumental in facilitating communication regarding complex issues and will ensure continuous improvement and coordination among team members to achieve overall goals within the MIP.
