The "Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (Apprenticeship)" position at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust begins in February 2025, with potential placements at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital or Cheltenham General Hospital. This apprenticeship is aimed at individuals interested in a pharmacy career, allowing them to gain experience and training in an acute hospital environment while working towards eligibility for registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Responsibilities include providing safe pharmacy services, managing the supply of medicines, dispensing prescriptions, assembling compliance aid packs, and answering customer queries.
