Band 8c: £82,462 to £93,773 a year per annum inc. HCAS  PERMANENT 
The postholder will lead on the ongoing implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Review Framework.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Assistant Director of Quality Governance within Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Trust. Working to the Chief Nurse , you will lead on the delivery of robust clinical governance and risk systems that support continuous improvement in patient care and minimise the risk and harm.

The postholder will lead on the ongoing implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Review Framework

The post holder will have overall responsibility for the objectives they deliver within Quality Governance, supported by two committed and effective Heads of Clinical Governance & Risk & Assurance

Provide leadership and be an expert resource to the Trust ensuring that the Trust has appropriate clinical governance systems, processes and practice in place through contributing to the education, training and development of staff and service development.

Influence and affect change at clinical, service development and administrative levels within the organisation ensuring that national and local requirements are delivered to the highest agreed quality standard.

Lead the strategic development of plans, systems, processes and relationships to ensure that the governance work programme is developed and delivered and that the Trust's governance system supports the delivery of high quality, safe and effective services.
