The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiographer specializing in Breast Imaging to join their team at the University Hospital in Coventry. The successful candidate will possess a Masters level qualification in Advanced Mammography Practice, be HPC state-registered, and have significant post-registration experience, including recognized qualifications in mammography and breast intervention. This role involves supporting and extending the breast imaging services, which encompass screening, symptomatic work, and participation in regional multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs). The post-holder will also be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures, interpreting radiological results, and providing expert advice within a collaborative healthcare environment.

In this role, the Consultant Radiographer will engage in clinical practice, education, and professional development, adhering to the four pillars of expert practice. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to accommodate the expanding service needs. The post-holder will operate autonomously, prioritize complex cases, and collaborate closely with the MDT to ensure effective patient care. In addition to diagnostic duties, the role emphasises leadership, research, and the delivery of high-quality breast imaging services to support both local and regional patient populations.
