The Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) - Pharmacist (Band 7-8a) for their Acute & Emergency medicine team in Worcester. This role offers a unique opportunity for a specialist pharmacist to enhance their skills in clinical decision-making and diagnostics through a sponsored MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. Trainees will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals while building a work-based portfolio, ultimately progressing to become qualified pharmacist-ACPs responsible for managing patients in areas such as the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit.

Once qualified, the pharmacist-ACP will engage in assessing and treating patients with undifferentiated diagnoses, utilizing their knowledge to optimize pharmaceutical care and consult with medical staff on medication-related issues. The role emphasises collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, allowing the practitioner to function both independently and as part of the team in delivering advanced clinical services while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
