The role of "Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator - F/T" at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading involves providing maternity cover for approximately 9 to 12 months. The primary responsibility is to support the Neuro MS nursing team with administrative tasks related to the patient care pathway. Key duties include processing referrals according to Trust policies, scheduling appointments efficiently, coordinating necessary diagnostics, and accurately recording clinic attendance outcomes. The coordinator will also manage clinic cancellations, reschedule appointments in line with waiting time targets, and handle medical transcription tasks. The post requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent and timely execution of responsibilities across the Trust.
