The QA/QC Radiographer at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is responsible for coordinating the Breast Imaging Quality Control and Assurance system across sites in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. This role includes executing mammography, screening, and assessment procedures, ensuring compliance with the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) standards. The radiographer will monitor the quality of radiographic techniques, achieve a target of 97% image adequacy, participate in peer reviews, and interpret quality assurance data to develop solutions. Additionally, the position demands maintaining equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and contributing to the development of the Quality Management System in collaboration with departmental leadership.

The role also involves undertaking high-quality mammography at various locations and providing sensitive patient care, particularly to diverse populations. The candidate must maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and engage in continuous education while supporting the efficient operation of clinics in the absence of senior staff.
