As Training Programme Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the training across the region. You will ensure that national standards, determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC and NHS-E WT&E are implemented locally. Applicants must be currently working within the East Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent including SAS doctors in the specialty school area. Experience within the specialty at consultant or SAS doctor level is essential as is considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.

You will work with theHead of Schoolto produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.

NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route youll usually need to be paid the standard salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the going rate for your job, whichever is higher. Secondments

Applicants from within the NHS will be offered on a secondment basis only, agreement should be obtained from their employer prior to submitting the application.
