The role of Clinical Lead - Haringey with North Central London Integrated Care Board involves joining the clinical and care leadership team to enhance integrated health and care services within the borough. The position includes two roles focusing on clinical leadership for Longer Lives Implementation (Live Well) and neighborhood integration, requiring a commitment of two sessions (3.5 hours each) over one or two consecutive days, and is available on a secondment basis until September 20, 2025.

The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting local delivery aligned with ICB priorities, fostering collaboration within borough teams, and providing strategic clinical input. The role necessitates building partnerships with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, public health, local authorities, and community organisations, to improve access to services, enhance life outcomes, and reduce health inequalities in Haringey. Ideal applicants should have a strong understanding of local health challenges and be passionate about systems leadership and collaborative improvement initiatives.

These are clinical leadership roles that reflect the need for borough-based clinical and care expertise around, and support to, transformation across Haringey with portfolios organised around life-courses: Start Well, Live Well and Age Well. We are looking to fill two Clinical Lead roles, on a secondment basis, up to 20 September 2025, within Haringey, as follows:

o 2 sessions to focus on clinical leadership for Longer Lives Implementation (Live Well)o 1 session to focus on neighbourhood integration

Each session is 3.5 hours, and the expectation is that successful candidates will be able to commit to working these sessions across one or two days, consecutively.

Clinical leads will support local delivery in line with ICB priorities and the strengthening of local clinical and professional collaboration as we continue to develop as an ICS. Postholders will be key members of borough-based teams and will report into the borough Clinical Director and Director of Place.

You will also be part of a broader NCL system-wide clinical and care leadership community to join up, coordinate and share knowledge and work across the ICS footprint, and at the same time providing strategic, clinical and professional input and support.

Working closely with clinical and officer colleagues, postholders will be a key player in building partnerships and collaborating with providers, public health, local authority, other partners (e.g. voluntary sector) and local people to deliver better access, improvements in life outcomes, and reductions in health inequality.

Interviews will be held in February 2025 and this temporary post is until 20/9/25.
