The Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for skilled and resilient Art/Music/Drama Therapists for the new Enhanced RECONNECT service, aimed at supporting individuals with complex needs, particularly those who have been incarcerated and are at high risk of reoffending. This NHS England initiative focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to provide coordinated care and interventions, using a trauma-informed framework. The role involves working with individuals post-release to help them understand and manage their risks, build strengths, and access community services, ultimately promoting recovery and independence.

Candidates should have extensive experience in addressing mental health challenges in various forensic settings, including prisons.
