East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Neurophysiology to join their team at Colchester General Hospital, offering a £6,500 welcome bonus. This part-time position entails working 5 Programmed Activities (PAs) and requires applicants to have completed CCT or an equivalent qualification, be on the Specialist Register, and be prepared to engage in diverse responsibilities encompassing clinical work, teaching, research, and managerial functions. The consultant will develop and deliver a comprehensive Clinical Neurophysiology service, including performing various neurophysiological tests and supervising clinical physiologists, while also contributing to clinical governance and service standards.

The role demands effective communication with referring practitioners, participation in continuing education, and collaboration with departmental management to enhance the quality of care provided. The job plan will be flexible based on service needs and will include annual reviews to align personal objectives with broader service goals. The post holder may occasionally be required to work at other Trust locations as needed.
