The Secondary Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke will provide expert nursing support and guidance to patients diagnosed with secondary breast cancer, as well as their families and caregivers. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in both the breast and oncology units to develop and enhance the secondary breast cancer care pathway. Key responsibilities include facilitating patient-centered care, conducting holistic assessments to formulate care plans, coordinating clinics, and acting as an advocate for patients while ensuring they are well-informed about their treatment options.

Additionally, the specialist will lead efforts to improve nursing practices and patient care quality, identifying opportunities for psychological, dietary, and physiotherapy support as needed.
