The role of a Band 6 Senior Practitioner Nurse in the Haringey Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team at 306 North London NHS Foundation Trust is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights. This team provides 24/7 urgent care for individuals experiencing mental health crises, aiming to deliver assessments and treatment in the least restrictive environment to prevent hospital admissions. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical and risk assessment skills, with a background as a Band 6 RMN or a Band 5 RMN ready for promotion.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, planning and evaluating care for those at high risk of self-harm or severe mental health issues, and guiding more junior staff. The position demands confidence in managing risks, a broad skill set in mental health assessment, and the capacity to direct service users towards appropriate treatment pathways. Applicants are expected to demonstrate relevant experience and a commitment to professional development in a dynamic and supportive team environment. Regular supervision and team meetings will be provided to ensure staff feel valued and supported.
