The Temporary Staff Co-Ordinator role at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is essential for managing staffing needs across the Trust’s various sites and services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, a professional telephone demeanor, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Flexibility and adaptability are also key, along with strong IT skills and the capacity to learn new computer systems, particularly the Allocate bank and agency booking system, for which training will be provided.

Responsibilities include processing staffing bookings via email, phone, or text, entering them into the Rostering System accurately and promptly, and proactively finding alternatives when bank cover is unavailable. The position is part-time, requiring weekend availability, and involves compliance with bank and agency policies while participating in Trust audits. The role demands a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and collaborate efficiently with staff at all levels.

This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
