The "Eating Disorders Support Worker - CAMHS" role at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Truro focuses on providing intensive, short-term interventions for young individuals with eating disorders, aiming to prevent or minimize hospital admissions. The position entails offering meal support within the young person's home, as well as implementing strategies for distress tolerance and emotional regulation. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the support worker will engage with patients both in their homes and in community settings, as well as collaborating with local hospitals and inpatient wards.

This position operates within a 7-day service, with shifts scheduled from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. The primary objective is to ensure young people can receive appropriate care in a familiar environment, allowing for continued engagement within their homes and communities while addressing their eating disorder treatment needs. Regular training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
