The Band 7 Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist role at Barnet Hospital, part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, involves managing and delivering high-quality care for patients with various respiratory conditions, focusing primarily on COPD and asthma. The specialist will work closely with current respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) and the multidisciplinary team to enhance outpatient, ambulatory, and inpatient services. Key responsibilities include conducting nurse-led clinics, performing clinical assessments, managing complex cases, and supporting the severe asthma MDT. The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to empower patients and their families in managing their health.
