The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Vascular Scientist (or an experienced Sonographer in Vascular Ultrasound) for a permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week) within their Vascular Laboratories. The role involves performing and reporting on various vascular ultrasound examinations, managing patient workloads, supervising trainee vascular scientists, and contributing to research, audits, and teaching. Candidates must possess significant experience in vascular ultrasound and ideally hold relevant qualifications, including AVS accreditation and a state registration as a Clinical Scientist, with the flexibility to work across multiple hospital sites.

Key responsibilities include providing timely diagnostic vascular ultrasound services, working autonomously to manage patient assessments, and reporting findings to clinicians while advising patients on subsequent actions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to manage complex equipment, and specialized knowledge in vascular ultrasound practices.
