We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to work directly with the five practices of the Mansfield North PCN. This aim of this role it to remove the burden of their administrative duties and tasks by working closely with the practice managers to plug gaps of inefficiency, skill or excess amounts of work, relieving some of the burden of everyday administration workload, and supporting PCN contract requirements.
Ideally you will have worked in a GP practice before, if not you would have worked in a similar NHS setting. You will need to be a quick learner with a can-do attitude and be flexible to the needs of each practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support practices to improve areas of inefficiencies and support areas of excess workload.
Review processes to assess working at scale.
Support practices to deliver against PCN contract where required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience working in General Practice.
Proficient use and knowledge of SystmOne
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven administrative experience.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSBILITIES:
Processing of clinical correspondence received from various sources in line with appropriate letter processing protocols.
Preparing / Producing Medical reports which includes SARS requests, in line with appropriate Medical Reports protocols.
General Administration tasks to support practices and the PCN DES Requirements
Updating Policies and Protocols in line with CQC and practice requirements
Summarising new patient records
Monitoring progress of all data quality against Practice targets
Monitoring patient call and recall systems.
Completing and updating Data Security & Protection Toolkit
Review new processes as part of a review of general practice at scale including proactive screening to support ESDS via e-healthscope.
Supporting Enhanced Access delivery via S1
QUALITY:

Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on your own and your teams activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the teams performance.

Discuss with other members of the team/office how the policies, standards and guidelines will affect your own work.
Attend regular team meetings.
Participate in audits where appropriate.
