Allen Street Clinic is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join their team in Cheadle. The ideal candidate should be fully registered with the NMC and possess strong communication skills, with prior experience in a GP practice being advantageous but not essential, as training and support will be provided. The Practice Nurse will deliver high-quality nursing care to the practice population, focusing on treatment, screening, chronic disease management, vaccinations, and patient education. Working collaboratively with the medical team, the role involves performing various clinical tasks, managing preventative healthcare initiatives, and providing both individualised and evidence-based patient care.

In addition to general nursing duties, the Practice Nurse will participate in health screening programs, support patients in managing their health conditions, and conduct home visits as required. Responsibilities also include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of infection control procedures, supporting safeguarding measures, and contributing to the development of nursing policies. The post-holder is expected to maintain confidentiality, adhere to practice protocols, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous personal and professional development. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as the role may necessitate covering different areas of the practice as needed.
