The Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust will spearhead the development and implementation of the Trust's ED&I strategy. This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of the strategic plan by measuring key performance indicators related to workforce equity, such as gender and ethnicity pay gaps, while also ensuring compliance with the Workforce Race Equality Scheme (WRES) and Workforce Disability Equality Scheme (WDES). The successful candidate will utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to create a comprehensive workforce ED&I plan, informed by local health inequality statistics and national guidance, to guide the Trust's objectives over a three to ten-year period.

As a subject matter expert, the Head of ED&I will foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders and staff-led equality networks to develop tailored interventions that enhance team culture and performance. This position requires proactive collaboration with HR Business Partners and Divisions, providing expert advice and support on ED&I data outcomes and strategic planning. The role emphasises the need for strong reporting skills and a commitment to improving the Trust's ED&I initiatives, ultimately aiming to drive better health outcomes and workplace equality.
