The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced cancer nurse for the role of Chemotherapy Sister for Teenagers and Young Adults (TYAs) diagnosed with cancer, expanding care for patients aged 16 to 30. The successful candidate will possess a 1st Level Nursing degree, an accredited post-registration chemotherapy qualification, and relevant clinical experience, ideally at a senior band 5 or band 6 level.

In this position, the Chemotherapy Sister will collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Cancer Site Specific Nurse Specialists to ensure safe chemotherapy administration, manage toxicities, and develop high-quality, age-appropriate care and educational programs for staff. Strong communication skills and self-motivation are essential, as the role involves coordinating patient care across various professional and organisational boundaries while acting as a resource for healthcare professionals and support staff.
