The IT/Digital Support Administrator role at James Street Group Practice in Whitehaven involves providing digital and IT administrative support across four NCPC practices in the Workington/Whitehaven area. The position requires collaboration with Information and Digital Transformation Officers to assist Practice Managers, deliver patient information efficiently, manage user accounts, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and maintain practice websites and social media presence. Although the role is primarily administrative, a basic technical knowledge is beneficial, and the administrator will also be responsible for reporting issues to the e-health helpdesk, training staff, and ensuring compliance with Information Governance requirements.

Candidates should possess strong communication and IT skills, a commitment to professional development, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-skilled team. Essential qualifications include five GCSEs, including math and English. Desirable qualifications may include IT or digital certifications and prior health care experience. This is an onsite position and requires flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary.
