Job Summary: Housekeeper - Doncaster with South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust
The Housekeeper position is a 30-hour per week role involving 6-hour shifts across 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays. The role is part of the Facilities Team and involves catering and cleaning duties at Cheswold Park Hospital. Key responsibilities include adhering to National Standards of Cleanliness, serving food, completing related paperwork (including food temperature checks), and preparing small meals.
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to prioritize workloads. Overtime opportunities may be available to cover staff absences. Confidentiality and effective communication with service users and healthcare staff are critical, as the role supports individuals with mental health issues. The position also involves inventory management for food and supplies, and assisting service users with laundry tasks.
