The ICS Children and Young People’s Clinical Respiratory Lead at NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board in Windsor is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Asthma Bundle of Care, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care for children and young people. This role encompasses the development of best practices, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across various care settings, and engagement with schools, local authorities, and families to address health inequalities and improve health outcomes. The lead will also promote asthma awareness through training and public health initiatives while monitoring service performance and spearheading quality improvement projects.

In addition to clinical expertise and a strategic vision, the role requires effective relationship-building with key stakeholders, including various respiratory networks, local councils, NHS Trusts, and the voluntary sector. The postholder will manage complex information and engage constructively across multiple functions to ensure alignment and address interdependencies. This position calls for a structured approach to change management, aiming to create a cohesive, child-centered respiratory care framework within the Integrated Care System.
