The Bank Registered Nurse Band 5 at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care programs for patients, ensuring high standards are maintained within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves acting as team leader during the absence of senior management, participating in governance processes, and adhering to the NMC code of Professional Conduct and hospital policies.

Key responsibilities include thorough patient assessments, formulating care plans based on their needs, advocating for patient rights, promoting health education, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team. Additionally, the nurse will contribute to fostering a positive working environment, reducing healthcare-acquired infections through adherence to infection control practices, and complying with medication handling guidelines.
