Enviva Complex Care is seeking a dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker in Sandbach, Cheshire, to join their team. The ideal candidate should have experience in complex care, possess a full UK driver's license, and be comfortable driving a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV). The role involves providing day-to-day support to a client with a brain injury, collaborating with healthcare professionals like Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, and engaging with the client's family to be an integral part of their lives.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate care records. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position offers flexible working hours, starting with ad-hoc shifts, with the potential for regular hours, and a competitive pay rate of £15.14 - £17.30 per hour. Comprehensive training and support from a clinical lead nurse will be provided, alongside a commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being.

Pay Rate: £15.14 - £17.30

Working Hours:

This will start with adhoc shifts with a view to increase to regular shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Engaging with personalised routines.

Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.

Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.

Providing emotional support and companionship.

Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.

Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.

To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work the specified hours.
