In addition to training responsibilities, the practitioner will provide clinical support during emergencies, offer guidance on resuscitation policies, and maintain their own professional development in teaching qualifications. A strong commitment to enhancing resuscitation practices within the organisation and compliance with current UK Resuscitation Guidelines is essential for this role.
The post holder will be the third member of the resuscitation team. The team provides resuscitation support at City Road and across all other Moorfields satellites. The post holder carries the shared responsibility for the planning, implementing, delivery and evaluation of resuscitation training programs at the appropriate levels across the organisation and operates as a clinical specialist and advisor in resuscitation to all staff.
The resuscitation department provides Adult and Paediatric life support at all levels for all clinical staff.
Provide Basic life support and AED training to all patient facing non-clinical staff.
Evaluate training needs across the trust and work with the resuscitation consultant to provide simulated medical exercises, extra support and training where required.

Training and assessment of all clinical staff for all levels of life support Adult and Paediatrics.

Responsible for maintaining professional development.
Clinical practice:
Attending clinical emergencies when available and participates in the resuscitation process.

Demonstrates a commitment to act as a facilitator/preceptor.
Demonstrate knowledge of DNACPR and current UK Resuscitation Guidelines.
