Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a full-time or part-time Physiotherapy Support Worker to join the Elderly Care Assessment Service at University Hospital Llandough. The role involves providing support to qualified physiotherapists in rehabilitating frail older patients at two locations: St David's Hospital and University Hospital Llandough. Candidates should possess strong teamwork, communication, and motivational skills, demonstrating a keen interest in rehabilitation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering and progressing delegated treatment programs, supervising exercise-based rehabilitation for individuals and groups, and may also engage in personal care tasks. Administrative duties and contributions to the overall operation of the Physiotherapy Department are also included. Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require supporting other physiotherapy teams based on service needs.
