By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for two beautiful twin girls in Wakefield.

In addition to providing essential care for our service users, playtime is a key part of this role. Youll be sharing story time, listening to interactive books, drawing, and enjoying sensory play activities together. Its crucial for the care team to create a safe and nurturing environment that supports their development and learning.

You will provide specialised care on a 2:1 basis, always working alongside a Registered Nurse, both at home and in their educational setting. This is required due to the highly intense and complex care requirements of both our service users.

Please note, the parents of our service users have specifically requested female staff members for their childs care team.

Pay Rates:

  • £12.50 - £16.00 per hour
  • Approx. £150.00 - £192.00 (per 12-hour day shift)

Shifts Available:

  • Full Time Days
  • 3 shifts per week
  • 7:30am -7:30pm
  • Alternate weekends are essential for this position

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
