Band 5: £29,970 to £36,483 a year p.a.  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

There will be an expectation for the successful candidates to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays pro rata.

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, professional individual to come and work with our amazing District Nursing Teams across Poole Bay area to support the health of our community.

We have a full-time vacancy in the Shore District Nursing team working from Parkstone Towers Medical Centre

As a community staff nurse you will be providing nursing care to patient in their own home. We provide a wide and varied level of care to patient in their home. This means we have highly skilled workforce, successful candidates will be supported with upskilling and training.

There will be an expectation for the successful candidates to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays pro rata. Our late shift covers until 8pm.

We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.

To provide a high quality person centred approach to care delivery which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.

To undertake assessment of patients / service users care needs and develop programmes of care as part of the wider multi-disciplinary care team.

To provide advice to patients/ service users and carers regarding their care. To plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.

To provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to students and junior staff in the team.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.


The successful individual subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, must be able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.
