The role of Senior Radiographer for Mammography and General X-ray and CT Radiology at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton involves ensuring an effective skill mix among staff to meet the clinical demands of imaging procedures. The post holder is expected to provide training and support to junior staff, oversee the efficient operation of mammography and CT services, and maintain adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs). Candidates must have post-registration experience, a BSc in Radiography, HCPC registration, and a Post Graduate Certificate of Competence in Mammography.

In this position, the senior radiographer will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include performing imaging examinations, ensuring proper patient identification, providing pre- and post-procedure advice, managing patient concerns, and accurately documenting patient data. Effective communication with patients and clinical colleagues is essential to facilitate a supportive and efficient imaging environment.
