Taurus Healthcare Limited is seeking a qualified Dispenser for a permanent position at Weobley and Staunton on Wye Surgeries in Hereford, which serve a combined patient base of approximately 6,500. The role requires the successful candidate to work Thursday and Friday, with additional responsibilities to provide cover during staff sickness and holidays as part of the dispensary rota. The Dispenser will be responsible for processing prescriptions, managing stock control, and ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with patients.

Key duties include handling prescription requests, issuing both paper and electronic prescriptions, preparing medication and Dosset boxes, conducting checks on dispensed items, managing financial transactions related to prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with health standards and regulations, including Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines. The position also involves maintaining hygiene in the dispensary, managing stock levels, and performing necessary administrative tasks. On-the-job training will be provided if needed. Informal inquiries can be directed to the Dispensary Manager.
