The Band 7 Diabetes Dietetic Team Lead position at Blackburn with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is a full-time (part-time applications accepted) role focused on providing Dietetic care for complex Diabetes patients and managing the Diabetes Dietetic team. The role combines leadership and specialist clinical responsibilities, including supervising and developing staff (band 6 and band 5 Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants). The post holder will also guide the evolution of Diabetes Dietetics within the Trust, develop training policies, and support wider Dietetic management. Clinical responsibilities include managing a caseload of complex Diabetes patients, particularly those on insulin pumps. The position involves teaching and assessing Dietitian students, as well as contributing to staff training across healthcare professions.
