The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust is seeking proactive and organized individuals for the role of Procurement Receipt and Distribution Assistant to support its new inventory management system under the Scan4Safety initiative. The position involves receiving, distributing, and managing medical consumables across various hospital areas. Candidates should have experience in warehouse and stock control, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This is a temporary full-time role (37.5 hours per week) that requires building relationships with clinical staff and working closely with procurement and stock control teams. Responsibilities include reordering supplies, managing transfer orders, recording wastage, assisting in stock counts, and resolving stock issues. The Trust emphasises sustainability in its operations, aligning with the NHS's Net Zero target, and encourages innovative practices among staff.
