Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists for a progressive Band 5-6 position within its Children and Young People's Therapy (CYPT) Service, located at Peace Children's Centre in Watford. The role involves managing a caseload of children and young people aged 0-25, providing interventions that address both health and educational needs within various settings, including schools and clinics. Ideal candidates should have experience in assessing and treating neurological conditions, learning disabilities, or neurodiverse conditions. The service promotes collaborative working among interdisciplinary teams and offers extensive professional development opportunities, including training, supervision, and leadership skill enhancement.

The successful applicant will join a supportive and innovative team committed to high-quality care and transformative interventions. Regular supervision, a structured appraisal system, and a comprehensive induction period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Candidates should possess strong communication and organisational skills, and be flexible and creative in their approach. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with essential requirements including a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business purposes. A High Cost Area Supplement is also available, in addition to the base salary.
