Utilising your excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will drive initiatives to improve and enhance outcomes for patients.
The role requires you to hold a Health Care Professions Council registration and to be able to work across a variety of locations in the North Staffordshire district including clinic, hospital wards, outpatients and domiciliary settings.
Provide professional and clinical support and leadership to all staff
Take a lead in the management of complex cases within the field of diabetes / wound management, supporting other staff and co-working when needed
Working with service users to develop outcome focused treatment / support plans
Establish and maintain effective working relationships both within the organisation and external organisations
Provide teaching and training in our specialist area to the wider workforce
Be involved with and be prepared to take the lead in clinical audit / research
About usTo work in conjunction with the Operational Lead, Operational manager and AHP Professional Leads to develop and deliver safe and effective services, in accordance with key national targets, clinical standards, service priorities and performance indicators set by local commissioners and Trust policies. You will be responsible for a defined population of service users in a variety of settings across the Trust including the community and hospitals along with being skilled in the assessment of complex/specialist care/support needs and in the development, implementation and evaluation of care/support packages. Responsible for promoting and championing good practice in all podiatry provision including internal and external partnership working. Keeping up to date with new local and national initiatives and training opportunities and regularly sharing with colleagues in formal and informal training sessions.
