The Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications for three full-time Consultant Paediatrician positions with a focus on Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) in Kingston Upon Thames. The role involves primarily working in the paediatric emergency department, covering the unit on a 1:5 basis, with duties including outpatient clinics and potential involvement in leading a new paediatric asthma multidisciplinary team service. The position offers opportunities for career development in various paediatric subspecialties and entails close collaboration with pediatric emergency services to enhance the care and training of junior doctors.

Candidates should possess a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of attaining it. The job plan comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs), with 8 PAs dedicated to direct clinical care. This new role aims to improve the quality of emergency care for children and support a significant team of PEM consultants, thereby enhancing the overall patient experience in the emergency department.
