Mountbatten Isle of Wight is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join their dynamic, patient-focused team providing high-quality community-based palliative and end-of-life care. This role involves working autonomously and collaboratively within a 24/7 service, offering advanced clinical decision-making and support to patients and their families in their homes or preferred care settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, while promoting clinical standards and a learning environment for other healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities include managing complex care needs, providing pain and symptom management, and offering guidance on psychological and spiritual support. The Senior Staff Nurse will also engage with multidisciplinary teams and assist with care coordination, ensuring that patients and their families have an active role in their care decisions and preferences. This full-time position requires flexibility in working hours and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to the local community.
