As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. You will be responsible for updating the home's social media platforms, creating community links, and devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. This is an extremely rewarding role where you'll get to know the residents and their families, and create tailored activity programs focused on maximizing everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
You'll need to be warm, empathetic, and personable to join us as an Activities Lead. Your organisational skills and driven mindset mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential, as you'll receive the necessary training to develop your skills and progress your career with us.

An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
