Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking compassionate and flexible Nursing Assistants to join their teams at Wythenshawe and Trafford Hospital inpatient sites. The role involves providing essential patient care, which includes assisting with personal care, mobility, and essential daily activities, while communicating sensitively with patients, their families, and the multi-disciplinary team. Nursing Assistants will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and are required to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care, while also undergoing on-the-job training to develop their skills.

For those new to healthcare, the Trust offers a Development Programme to help Nursing Assistants complete the Care Certificate and advance to a Band 3 role, while experienced candidates will participate in a skills analysis to guide their training. The Trust emphasises diversity and inclusion, encouraging candidates from all backgrounds to apply, and supports employees through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
