Hywel Dda University Health Board is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join the Radiology Department at Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest. In this role, the nurse will support Radiologists and other clinicians during diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures while ensuring patient care, dignity, and advocacy. Responsibilities include providing nursing care and information to patients, administering medications under the direction of the Radiologist, and undertaking patient observations. The nurse will also be involved in planning daily activities, supervising Radiology Assistants, managing clinical incidents, and participating in audits and improvements in patient care.

Candidates should possess strong teamwork abilities, communication skills, and empathy to work effectively with diverse patient populations. The position requires a commitment to maintaining professional standards in line with NMC guidelines. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, applicants who only speak English are also welcome, with support available for Welsh language development.
