Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Gastroenterology Consultant to join their expanding department, particularly with the upcoming launch of a Community Diagnostic Centre in West Swindon in January 2025. The successful candidate will work within a team of 8 senior medical professionals across multiple settings, including 4 endoscopy rooms at the Great Western Hospital. Responsibilities will include performing various procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and others, while also having the opportunity to develop a subspecialty interest in areas like Nutrition, IBD, or Hepatology. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including regular discussions with pathology, radiology, and surgical colleagues, will be essential for providing comprehensive patient care.
