An opportunity has arisen for a 21 hour post working within a busy Minor Injury Unit at Falmouth Hospital. This is a new post requiring the successful candidate to carry out minor injury treatments such as dressings, plastering, general observations and triage.
The MIU is open from hours, 7 days a week and shifts will include working long days, weekends and bank holidays.
Visits to the MIU prior to applying are welcomed.
Proposed Interview date: 25th October 2024
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an urgent care/MIU environment and will have completed MIU skills/triage workbooks .
An ability to work under pressure in an emergency setting and a willingness to undertake further skills training is essential.
